"Cannot recommend Alex highly enough. She has performed what seems like a miracle on my girl! I know very little of my mare's history but after years of bad treatment, bad riders an ill fitting tack she came to me badly misshapen in her back end, in pain and with too much of the wrong muscles built up and not enough of the correct ones. After trying physio, asking vet, numerous different schooling techniques/exercises Alex was the answer. She is loving and calm with the horses. My girl adores her! "Alex has been my mentor and riding instructor for the last 8 months. I started as a complete novice with no riding experience. Alex started with all the basics, I know how to tack up correctly, set my stirrups and saddle to provide me with correct seating and balance. "I have a 17hh ex broodmare. She hadn’t really been ridden for years so had poor muscle tone i.e none! She found it very hard to hold her frame and at times was bridle lame. She can also be quite tricky and stressed. I heard about Alex Fox, how good she is with tricky horses and that she is trained in Equine Muscle Release Therapy. As soon as she started riding Mo she just got her. Mo became the horse I’d known before moving her. Alex is very in tune to the horse and natural in how she asks questions of the horse. Alex has also worked on Mo using the EMRT technique. Mo initially wasn’t too sure what was happening but very quickly responded to the gentle muscle manipulation. In the past few months Mo is no longer bridle lame, can hold her frame much better and is building equally balanced muscle tone. Still a way to go but I’d recommend this to anyone who wants their horse to move naturally and freely."

‘Alex worked wonders with my less than easy mare after I realised I was over horsed. My horse went from refusing to go over trotting poles to jumping a metre including scary fillers. Alex’s schooling sessions drastically improved Luna’s paces, flexibility, muscle, outline and attitude. Her muscle release treatments really helped before and after difficult schooling sessions to ensure Luna got the most out the session and prevented any stiffness or soreness the next day. Alex took her to her first ever competitive outing giving her so much confidence and gained a 1st and 3rd in her prelim dressage to top it all off.
